God Advocates for The Wild Horses

In what seems to be a never ending battle, the federal government is trying to have another round up of wild horses while advocates for the wild horses say they deserve protection under the federal laws. Once a native species to North America, the wild mustang became extinct to the region around the glacial period but the same species was reintroduced in the 1500's by Spanish Explorers and are the same DNA breed of Mustangs as the ones that went extinct approximately 11,000 years ago. Advocates say that many of the herds do not meet the threshold to keep them viable and safe from extinction. The Federal Bureau of Land Management has been cutting down the herds saying there is not enough land to support them. Advocates rightly state there are millions of acres of land and less than 50,000 wild Mustangs in America with most herds less than 1,000 which is far less than the 2,500 needed per herd to account them as sustainable.
